Aix en Provence
Founded by the Romans in
123 BC Aix takes its name from the source situated there. The Coeur
Mirabelle, a lovely tree lined street with thermal fountains and charming shops
is a highlight, especially on Market Day. Aix also boasts thermal baths
built upon the foundations of the original Roman baths in the city.
