Aigues Morts
Literally "dead waters",
during the Crusades Aigues Morts was on the Mediterranean when King Louis IX
launched his crusade from there in 1248. Today it is a lovely
walled town with pleasant streets lined with shops and sunny plazas filled with
restaurants.
